SNORKELLING EXPERIENCES

Discover Snorkelling is for beginners, those with very little experience, or have tried abroad and want to have a go at snorkelling in the UK. Suitable for ages 10 and upwards. I can also run Family friendly Snorkpooling sessions for children under 10, accompanied by a parent or carer in the water. Sessions are run from Coldingham Bay in Berwickshire between June - September.

Guided snorkelling is for those with experience who have snorkelled before, want to build confidence or explore a new area with the comfort of a guide. I can be flexible on times and locations if you have your own wetsuit. Exploring sites nearby in Eyemouth, St Abbs, and Coldingham. Between May - October

I keep groups small for low-impact on the environment and for a more personal experience. Open groups of 3-6, private family or friend groups of 2-6, or one to one sessions.

If you have a bigger group, I can arrange that too - please ask!

Full kit hire, including thick 5mm wetsuits, can be arranged at an additional cost.

Please ask if you have any more questions. Subscribe to the mailing list for updates.

Founder, Snorkel Instructor & Guide

Genine

Hello, I’m Genine. I'm based in the historic fishing town of Eyemouth on the Berwickshire coast in Scotland. I’m passionate about marine life, the environment, and conservation, particularly in our local seas. I enjoy sharing this passion and educating people about the importance of our seas through the adventure of snorkelling.

I spent a year working as the marine ranger for the Berwickshire Marine Reserve, working on several projects with the community and visitors to protect and promote this area.  I’m very grateful and lucky to be able to live and work in this beautiful coastal area and bring the underwater world to all through teaching and guiding snorkelling.

I'm a BSAC-qualified snorkel instructor and a PADI Divemaster guiding and assisting scuba diving when I'm not snorkelling. I plan, organise, teach and guide all the sessions.
